Now that I’ve done my spring cleaning in the winter, gotten my Blog up and running, fixed the Gallery on the Blog and had the chance to get some paperwork done, I took the liberty of putting together several of my favorite photos in an album and lugged that around with me for the last couple of days. Just to kindof show off some of the things I’ve been doing this year.
When people who have known me for a while get to see some of my photos, I can only guess they are suprised. Sure, they see me lug my camera with me everywhere, but seldom do they get the chance to see any of my photos, or at least see photos they are aware I took. I see them flip through the book and inevitably they will come across the photo Their eyes will widen and their mouth will crack into a smile and then they will take a short pause to take in its beauty, or its colors — whatever it was about that photo that caused them to pause. Then they turn and with all the greatest intentions in the world say: “You know, you REALLY have a nice camera“. And I smile in return because I know that’s about the greatest compliment I could ever hope to receive.
